Abstract: In recent times, strategic collaboration between organisations is being pursued to gain competitive advantage. Organisations primarily depend on their core competencies. Acquiring competencies in other areas may not always be very economical. But for multidimensional business development both in width and depth including geographical spread organizations collaborate. This paper attempts to develop a model of supply chain collaboration that can be used by firms to form collaborative projects. Through an extensive research on supply chain collaboration models or frameworks used by researchers, a comparative evaluation is made and a composite model is developed.
