Abstract: Automobile industries spent considerable amount of resources in terms of capital, labour, energy and raw materials in delivering goods and services to customers. With shifting consumer tastes and new models of vehicles entering market at a shorter period of time, reverse logistics are becoming a necessity. In this paper, we propose a multi-criteria decision model using Analytic Network Process (ANP) to evaluate alternatives of reverse logistics found in automobile industries. The ability of ANP to consider interdependencies among and between levels of attributes makes it an attractive multi-criteria decision making tool for evaluation of various alternatives available to the decision maker.
