Abstract: The main objective of this study was to carry out an assessment of the cultural ecosystem services of the 'Las Delicias' brook, located in Chapinero, in Bogotá, Colombia, as it is one of the largest hydrographic basins of the group of streams that flow into the Salitre River from Chapinero. Therefore, it is constituted as a strategic ecosystem provider of ecosystem services; the realisation of this type of estimation is of great interest since it is a tool that contributes to the decision-making in the environmental management of the territory. The most important identified services, among others, were the regulation of the hydrological cycle, flood control, ecotourism, and landscape cultural services. Finally, through the travel cost method applied to the surveyed population, it was determined that, if there is a willingness to pay for the conservation of the stream, then the population would pay for the enjoyment and maintenance of it.
