Abstract: Sustainability-driven technologies (SDTs) are crucial for sustainable development (SD) as they minimise environmental impact, promote resource efficiency, and foster environmental quality. This study attempts to reveal the connection between SDTs and sustainable development along with moderation of ease of use (EOU) about these evolving technologies drawing of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) theory. This study affirmed the connection between SDTs (e.g., renewable energy, energy storage systems, smart grids, electric vehicles, green building, water conservation, big data analytics, Internet of Things (IoTs), circular economy, and eco-friendly manufacturing technologies) toward SD (e.g., economic, environmental, and social development). Second, the study confirmed a positive moderation of EOU between SDTs and SD which ensured that EOU is an important factor while implementing these technologies to effectively achieve SD. Finally, this study provides lines for future researchers by showing certain limitations of the current work.
