Abstract: The study aims to reveal the specifics of state reshoring policy, substantiate it as an effective tool for increasing the sustainability of national economies during times of crisis, and identify areas for its implementation that can improve the economic security of the state while ensuring the transition to a new digital stage of development. The article identifies the prerequisites for implementing reshoring policies in different countries. The authors stress that implementing the reshoring policy makes it possible to relieve tension in the economic and social spheres during crises by stabilising the labour market and employment. The second undisputed advantage of implementing the reshoring policy is the stimulating effect of digital development, which increases the adaptive ability of the economy to withstand political and economic instability. Additionally, the article identifies areas of reshoring policy implementation to achieve economic security effects and ensure accelerated digital development.
