Abstract: In order to overcome the problems of poor effectiveness and communication fluency in English oral teaching, this paper proposes an evaluation method for the effectiveness of English oral teaching for college students in a blended learning environment. Firstly, consider constructing an effectiveness evaluation index system in a blended learning environment. Then, collect oral teaching data and use parallel K-means clustering algorithm for clustering. Finally, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to calculate the weight of indicators, classify effectiveness levels, and evaluate the effectiveness of oral teaching. The results showed that after applying the method proposed in this article, the communication fluency and expression intention ability of students at different levels were effectively improved, and the highest expression intention ability score was raised to 8.4. This indicates that the method proposed in this article can better guide the oral teaching process and improve students' oral proficiency.
