Abstract: The lean deployment in healthcare is considered complex and has been getting attention for a few years. Lean deployment is the strategy or mode of achievement of lean implementation. To refresh the lean deployment perspectives in the sector is an investigating imperative. The study aims to propose a framework based on the literature review by observing the prevailing healthcare system at certain hospital levels and collecting the healthcare professional's opinions on the nature of the processes in such scenarios. The finding from the study is in the form of a conceptual model that can throw light on the lean deployment requirements in the healthcare systems at hospital levels. The outcome model of this study is general and likely to be a limitation. Depending upon the scale of service operations of a hospital, the service process considerations shall vary. The study can facilitate the strategising of lean deployment in healthcare services.
