Abstract: United Nations acknowledged the concept of 'Sustainable Production and Consumption' in 2002 at the World Summit on Sustainable Development, which is now the Twelfth Goal for the Agenda of the 2030 summit. However, the consumer's behaviour for purchasing green products/services is still an evolving research area. This study aims to study the existing literature available and attempt to sketch the future research possibilities in the consumer's green purchase behaviour A total of 129 articles published between 2005-2022 on green consumer purchase behaviour were extracted from the Scopus database, reviewed by content analysis and analysed through bibliometric analysis. The study enriches the existing literature related to green consumer purchase behaviour by providing and picturing a holistic view of the existing academic literature available on the Scopus database. The limitation of the study is the usage of only one database and the timeline of the study.
Keywords: green products; consumer behaviour; green purchase; bibliometric analysis.
