Abstract: Whole-body vibration of the Wenda Gi.34 bus driver seat is experimentally measured with a specialised measuring device VM31. The comfort level is evaluated according to ISO 2631:1 - 1997 by the overall frequency-weighted acceleration value of all three directions av. The level of whole-body vibration influence on health is evaluated according to standard A(8). The seat effective amplitude transmissibility (SEAT) is analysed by measuring the ratio between the vertical acceleration components of the driver's seat and the floor right below. The obtained results show that the bus driver would feel uncomfortable, the driver's health condition is guaranteed, the vibration isolation ability of the driver's seat reaches 81.2%. In the fixed suspension case, the driver's comfort decreases by 10%, the driver's seat vibration isolation ability decreases by 15%, and the influence of whole-body vibration on health in the z direction increases by 15%.
