Abstract: COVID-19 caused a high impact on the human life sectors, and water distribution services were no exception, given that a change in water consumption behaviour has been registered in several planet regions to the isolation and hygiene measures imposed to contain the new coronavirus. This study analysed the water consumption pattern in Bogotá, Colombia, by reviewing the consumption data by socio-economic stratum and water consumption type, provided by the Aqueduct and Sewerage Company of Bogotá (in Spanish EAAB) between 2018 and 2020. All the sectors analysed showed a decrease in consumption, except for the residential sector, which increased. With the results found, and through the bibliographic compilation, useful strategies are proposed to establish resilient water distribution systems in the post-COVID stage.
