Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the number of generations, types, and characteristics of hazardous household waste. The research employed a descriptive method with a survey design. The population for this study was all households residing in Hamlet 06 Pasirkaliki, North Cimahi. A sample of households was selected from the population using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using measurement and observation techniques. The collected data was processed and analysed using univariate methods. The results showed that the average generation of hazardous household waste was 0.0006 kg/person/day. The types of hazardous household waste included used batteries, lamps, electronics, empty paint cans, empty pesticide packaging, used home care products, and used self-care products. The characteristics of hazardous household waste were found to be infectious, toxic, and flammable.
