Abstract: The automated safe and secure library management system uses human face recognition to monitor library activities. The manual monitoring of tasks is very difficult, while devices are gaining importance as the amount of clients is increasing. The automated process reduces manual efforts, duplicate work and saves energy and time which also brings accurate results. The linear binary pattern histogram (LBPH) system works with face detection and recognition in helping to record the information of end users and consumers. The end-consumers of the software are librarians, students, and teachers. With the help of the application, the books get issued to the end-consumer through figuring out the consumer with the assistance of face recognition. The system captures the face of the consumer and additionally checks the information of the consumer.
