Abstract: Civil construction projects must be evaluated to guarantee maximum assertiveness. The objective of the study was to determine the best company for the execution of a condominium expansion project, using multicriteria methods to assist in the decision-making of a condominium administrator. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) was used to define the criteria for analysing the three candidate companies and the fuzzy TOPSIS method was used to select the company to carry out the project. The results showed that the people criterion, was the most prioritised by the manager, revealing the importance of investing in the development of employees, which is reflected in the services provided.

Keywords: multicriteria decision making; selection of construction projects; analytical hierarchy process; AHP; fuzzy TOPSIS; sensitivity analysis.
