Abstract: Fresh food processing capabilities is an area of the supply chain that has a high perspective to add value. This study aims to identify and model critical success factors (CSFs) of the Indian fresh food processing (FFP) industry. The CSFs have been identified through all-encompassing literature reviews and consolidated through discussions with experts from the Indian FFP industry. A total of ten CSFs are identified and measured through a relative importance method. The TOPSIS methodology is deployed to analyse the data. The result shows that integration of the supply chain focuses on processing technology, training the major entity of value chain. This paper contributes to the understanding of supply chain management in a FFP context and presents the lead CSFs for this sector. The results of this study will help supply chain managers-practitioners in making decisions about the successful implementation of impactful strategies.
