Abstract: The objective of this study is to evaluate the operational efficiency of remanufacturing supply chain (RSC). This study employs data envelopment analysis (DEA) to measure the relative efficiency of 17 RSC. Within the DEA analysis, the present research work focused on input-oriented model with constant returns to scale and variable returns to scale. The DEA analysis is based on five inputs and two outputs. This study computes the Charnes, Cooper and Rhodes (CCR) score (technical efficiency), Banker, Charnes and Cooper (BCC) score (pure technical efficiency) and scale efficiency (SE) using DEA technique. The findings of this study indicate that six decision-making units (DMUs) (1, 3, 7, 12, 13, and 16) are efficient, since their SE value is 1 while the remaining are inefficient. This research work also provides information about the inefficient organisations for required possible improvement to move towards the efficient frontier. The findings of the study would help decision-makers to develop appropriate strategies to effectively managing their resources.
