Abstract: The article is based on the research of the public relations environment in Poland and contains references to the work problems that PR people have to cope with. It aims to identify the factors that determine the level of satisfaction with the profession of a PR specialist by analysing the challenges facing the public relations industry in Poland. The analysis is made based on 253 survey responses from PR specialists who represent various entities and provide services both to their clients but also co-create the PR structures of private and public companies. The main hypothesis of the article assumes that the willingness to recommend the profession of a PR specialist is determined by the level of visibility of the challenges faced by the public relations industry in Poland. The authors of the article also present a ranking of the challenges facing Polish PR, which have been aggregated within collective indicators.
