Abstract: This paper presents the development of a conceptual model to evaluate the impact of the improvement of the hospital supply chain on the cancer patient psychological state within the oncology department of the IBN ROCHD University Hospital (UH) in Casablanca. Through an empirical study using a survey submitted to a sample of 100 users of this department (patients, staff, etc.) and using latent variable structural modelling by the partial least squares (PLS) method via the XL-STAT software (version 2017), we evaluate the proposed model in terms of reliability and validity to conclude that the improvement of the hospital supply chain impacts positively the psychological state of cancer throughout their treatment trajectory in the oncology department of the IBN ROCH UH. The results obtained allow us to propose areas for improvement and action plans to be taken into account by managers at strategic and tactical levels in the studied department.
