Abstract: The aims of this exploratory research are to identify key stakeholders and their risk perceptions related to the bike-sharing enterprise and to point out possible strategies to mitigate those risks. The result of this study found that 10 stakeholders are involved in this business. Theft and vandalism, traffic accidents, disclosure of personal information, and loss of customer deposits are considered the most important risks factors. Application of smart digital technologies in detecting faulty bikes, development of collaborative relations, awareness building, and involvement of third-party organisations to refund user deposits is considered the most important risk mitigation strategies.
