Abstract: An emergent body of research mainly from the developing countries indicated that behavioural and cultural factors have significant influence on the adoption of technology. Based on the theoretical lenses of technology acceptance model (TAM) and theory of reasoned action (TRA), this study examined the teachers' behavioural intention towards the adoption of audio-visual aids. The researchers conducted self-administrated questionnaire-based survey for data collection from the teachers working at government secondary schools of district Khanewal-Pakistan. Structural equation modelling approach was applied with the help of SmartPLS software in order to test the hypothesised relationships. The results revealed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence and culture are positively, while access to audio-visual aids is negatively, associated with the teachers' behavioural intention towards the adoption of audio-visual aids. Furthermore, theoretical and practical implications for teachers' professional development as well as for educational policy makers, limitations of study and directions for future research were also discussed.
