Abstract: This paper examined the impact of various aspects of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the sustainability of a company. The corporate sustainability practice was assessed in terms of the environmental, social and governance (ESG) scores provided by Bloomberg. The proposed study will add to the current knowledge about the influence of corporate governance structures and CSR sustainability committees on the ESG outcomes of businesses in the sphere of Indian non-financial corporations through careful analysis of existing literature and the establishment of a model. The hypotheses were tested over a 13-year period (2010-2022) using a static and dynamic panel data regression analysis of 404 corporations listed on National Stock Exchange. According to the findings, board size, female directors, and audit committee meetings have an impact on corporate sustainability. However, the proportion of independent directors influences EDS, SDS and ESG. Furthermore, CSR committee practices demonstrate that employee CSR training has a significant effect on overall corporate sustainability. Moreover, CSR committee meetings influence certain aspects of corporate sustainability. These results suggest that paying executives based on ESG performance can push companies to think more about the future and the environment.
