Abstract: As the complexity of organisational decision-making increases, group decision-making mechanisms have become indispensable for engaging multiple parties in the decision-making process. Nevertheless, interpersonal pressures within groups or constraints due to hierarchical relationships result in suboptimal outcomes of group decision-making, thus resulting in low meeting efficiency and the inability to effectively address issues. The advent of blockchain technology, which features decentralised and immutable characteristics, presents a novel solution. The automated execution of smart contracts facilitates a more transparent and credible decision-making process. This study proposes a blockchain-based group decision-making mechanism that integrates a self-certification system, elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), threshold signatures, and blind signatures. This framework serves to enhance the security and automation of the decision-making process, thereby improving its fairness, transparency, and efficiency. Therefore, the proposed mechanism addresses the issues of information opacity and low trust levels toward current systems.
