Abstract: This paper represents a method in order to design an optimal configuration for a sustainable supply chain with respect to product architecture. Recent situations and some limitations of co-working with international suppliers caused many companies try to increase the sustainability rate of supply chain. This paper through reviewing literatures, real condition and experts' viewpoints, in addition to financial, environmental and social aspects of sustainability, the political aspect has been taken into consideration. Political sustainability aspect is considered to reduce the risk of non-delivery of components and modules in different situations. The main focus is to consider platform sustainability and supply chain cost simultaneously. For this purpose, first, a fuzzy AHP is used to weight sustainability factors and then based on these weights, fuzzy TOPSIS method is used to determine the sustainable indexes for suppliers. In addition, a multi-objective mathematical programming has been developed to decide on the supply chain configuration.
