Abstract: Cloud-based e-health services are the latest revolution in the field of medical services. E-healthcare systems provide immediate medical advice to the patient by using the resources of a cloud. Various e-healthcare systems have been proposed by researchers to provide reliable medical aids to the patient. The traditional cloud-based healthcare systems are limited to only a particular hospital or a medical institution and are not generalised for the patients of a specific disease. Thus, there is a need to develop reliable healthcare recommendation system that will provide direct information to the users of e-health services. In this paper, an Asthma Healthcare Service Recommendation System (AHSRS) for asthma patients has been proposed. The proposed system recommends cloud-based services to asthma patients according to their health conditions. The recommendation system proposed in this paper is based on body area network (BAN) and cloud platform.
