Knowledge management and reuse in tourism destination observatories

Abstract: Tourism destination observatories represent an important tool for institutional governance. The multiplicity of socio-economical implications of tourism require statistical information system based on knowledge to support political decisions and social dialogue is in the main institutional agendas. This paper wants to address the problem of harmonising the different stakeholders languages and concepts presenting a knowledge base statistical information system and a solution to publish the semantic information on linked open data in the perspective of a shared information system acknowledged by all system actors.
