Abstract: The paper describes the background to, and development of, the instructional television service at the California State University, Chico, USA. The continuing education program at CSU, Chico, offers 25 courses each semester by satellite delivery. The paper describes the electronic delivery system, the MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science, and the administrative support for, and coordination of, the program.
