Abstract: Several governments have started looking at how mobile technologies can help increase service levels, efficiency and constituent participation. Mobile government (m-government) implementation provides unique opportunities to exploit mobile devices to receive government services and information literally from any place, at any time, using varieties of wireless networks. This paper describes the web services based framework that could be used for developing m-government applications. The framework will be a great help to deliver m-government applications in different format such as audio, video and text in multi-supporting multi-lingual formats.
