Abstract: In this paper, through the analysis of the distributed weighted multidimensional scale localisation algorithm, we propose dwMDS(BCC) (Distributed Weighted Multidimensional Scaling Localisation Algorithm Based on Bacterial Colony Chemotaxis Optimisation), which makes up for the shortcomings of this algorithm. The proposed algorithm made two major improvements. On the one hand, it improves the weighted mechanism and on the other hand, we introduce the BCC algorithm which has fast convergence speed and is applicable to multimodal function optimisation to optimise its local target cost function. Simulation results show that in the same experiment environment, compared with the original algorithm, the proposed algorithm improves the positioning accuracy and convergence rate.
