Abstract: Commercial Package CFX is used to simulate the rectangular hole flow with up-ward baffle. It is found that the k-ε model with Eulerian framework in three-dimensions can be used. The results are presented for the special flow under different Re-numbers from laminar to turbulent. And the simulation diagrams of hole discharge coefficient and flow resistant factor are showed as well. A formula of jet outlet-angle (α) with the baffle-angle (β), which can be a reference both for making further rectangular hole flow research and for estimating fluid diagram in engineering design, has been developed to predict the fluid ejection.
