Abstract: Data warehouse is a fundamental technology for the global management of corporate data, as well as for the adoption of strategic information systems for the management of the knowledge in the management of the financial risk. The quality of the tangible and intangible resources of such information systems, along with the ability of their users to transform the stored data into knowledge, determines the efficiency of the system. The current work offers a research model to analyse the success of this technology. Results are presented from an exploratory study among Spanish financial institutions.
