Abstract: Archival service is a key element not only of archiving personal documents, but is now considered as an investment by treating archival document is a valuable property. The demand has evolved with the current technology that has grown rapidly in recent years to provide high capacity storage, low-cost maintenance and high security for a long period of time. Nowadays archival needs of users became more advanced and distinct. Some users need very long-term preservation and others require high security. There is no specific solution seems to accommodate all need of the archival users. For a better archival service, a driver is needed to bring change in the marketplace. This paper proposes a novel framework to include insurability as a value added service and come up with a way to consolidate the current archival business forum through proper drivers in the dynamic marketplace. This paper also presents a provably secure and practically efficient protocol, which provides secure, simple and efficient mechanism to address all stakeholder needs of the current archival system.
