Abstract: The objective of manufacturing system function is the base of enterprise strategy implementation, providing guarantee for market competition. It mainly contains of six aspects, such as cost, quality, efficiency, flexibility, and time and environment protection. We establish a method for priority decision-making of manufacturing system function objective combined with improved PROMETHEE method. Through the analysis of the characteristics of the advanced manufacturing system and the identification of the elements of the functional objective, we establish a method of priority decision-making for the manufacturing system function objective combined with the improved PROMETHEE method. This method establishes an integrated model, six priority function and variable entropy method, to improve the PROMETHEE. Through the actual evaluation of the heavy-duty truck manufacturing system designed by the North heavy industry project, we gain a competitive priority decision-making scheme. Finally, the following research directions are discussed.
