Creativity at workplace: role of self-efficacy and harmonious passion

Abstract: In the present scenario, business processes seem to be highly innovative and creative. The current study attempted to investigate the role of workplace creativity and also find the antecedent role of self-efficacy. Self-efficacy shows significant predictive role towards workplace creativity. However this study further focuses on the moderating role of harmonious passion on the relationship between self-efficacy and workplace creativity. The present study is conducted among information technology (IT) professionals and data collected from different IT companies located in Kerala State. Findings reveal that self-efficacy positively contributes towards employees' creative performance, and harmonious passion negatively moderates the relationship between self-efficacy and workplace creativity.
