Abstract: This paper proposes iterative feedback tuning (IFT) with flowrate convertor pH neutralisation control (IFTCNC) for the purpose of output tracking. A nonlinear controller which is tuned using IFT is presented for pH neutralisation process. A flowrate convertor is designed to estimate the acids flowrate reference input signal corresponding to the desired output pH value in the pH neutralisation process system. The effectiveness of iterative feedback tuning with convertor pH neutralisation control is verified in simulation and the results clearly exhibit the good output tracking performance.
