Abstract: A method of diagrammatic depiction of complex historical phenomena is presented. This method tries to reveal systemic patterns that are not always obvious in the usual written presentation of historical events. Moreover, the diagrams generated can be used to pivot important points in the flow of meaning. An important issue of modern Greek History is processed in this manner and its underlying systemic archetype is revealed.
