EuCEENet: an example of an international academic telecommunication network

Abstract: The European Continuing Engineering Education Network (EuCEENet) forms a new basis for communication between European centres of excellence in continuing engineering education (CEE). It provides an infrastructure for persons in charge of CEE within the participating institutions for continuous discussion and cooperation in areas of common interest. As it is small and cheap and easy to access, it is able to support many activities. Thus, it can be recommended as a model for international academic networks.
