Abstract: Research projects, give focus to verifying and validating innovative ideas, as well as implementing new technologies. However, incorporating the results of a research project to industry is a task not given much attention, as it is not in the interest of many researchers. Therefore, when gathering requirements needed for implementing the goals of a project, some real factors tend to be put aside. In the scope of 'OneStopGov', an e-government research project, the authors tried to identify these factors. These can be taken into consideration for similar e-government projects, in order to increase the possibility of their uptake after they have been completed.
