Introduction [to New Contours of European International Management Research]
by Gerhard Fink, Nigel Holden
European J. of International Management (EJIM), Vol. 1, No. 1/2, 2007

Abstract: This introduction to the special issue on European International Management Research, which also forms the inaugural issue of the European Journal of International Management, first discusses the notion of European management and how it extends beyond its geo-political confines. It then addresses the proposition, 'The EU: good for managers, less good for the economy'. Emerging new contours in European management research are outlined and an overview is then given of contributions in the inaugural issue.
