Abstract: Nanosilver materials are widely used in many fields such as medical, chemical, and biological, increasing the possibility of contact with humans, so it is necessary to pay attention to their biosafety. This paper aims to provide reference for the study of the toxic mechanism of nanosilver, provide a basis for establishing a standard nanosilver safety evaluation system, and understand the bactericidal effect and safety of skin disinfectant with silver ion as the main bactericidal ingredient. This paper firstly analyses the skin toxicity, respiratory toxicity and digestive toxicity of nanosilver. Secondly, it analyses the in vitro cytotoxicity and the interaction between intracellular nanosilver and biomacromolecules. Finally, it analyses the exposure to biosafety of nanosilver materials and nanosilver. The relationship between toxicity and silver ion is discussed. In this paper, laboratory observation was carried out using suspension quantitative bactericidal test and animal test method. The average killing rate for Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli is 100.00%, and the average killing rate for Candida albicans is 99.9%. The disinfectant was sprayed with the disinfectant solution for 5 m in, and the average elimination rate of natural bacteria on the hands was 91.38%. The disinfectant has an acute oral toxicity test in mice of LD50 > 5000 mg/kg (body weight), which is an actual non-toxic grade. Therefore, the nanosilver ion skin disinfectant has a good killing effect on bacterial propagules and fungi, is a non-toxic substance, has no irritation to the skin and mucous membrane, and can be applied to skin management.
