Abstract: This paper proposes a smart home management system that depicts automation of home and its management. Internet of things (IoT) is used to post the information to physical devices that are interfaced to environment. The acquisition of data considered in this work is humidity, temperature, smoke or hazardous gas detection, water level indication. This collected data is sent to internet using network and protocols. The proposed system works on real-time monitoring of data and maintains security of home. Controlling action taken through internet. Reducing power consumption is major achievement and energy conservation happens with the implementation of automation. ARM 7 LPC2148 microcontroller is used in this work.
