Special Issue on: "Risk Management in Projects and Enterprises"

Today’s projects and businesses are becoming ever more complicated and complex and this is coupled with the current global financial crisis, economic downturn and intensified competition. Hence, the associated risks are also becoming more complicated and complex. Properly identifying, assessing and responding to these risks is of vital importance for achieving project and organisational objectives and success. Furthermore, it is also vitally important to monitor and learn from the risk management process to improve risk management capabilities.

Subject Coverage
The special issue seeks original contributions in the areas on risk management in projects and enterprises include but not limited to following areas:
  • New theories and techniques for risk identification, risk analysis/evaluation and allocation
  • Risk perceptions and attitude/appetite
  • Enterprise risk management
  • Risk management maturity assessment
  • Strategic and operational risk management
  • Supply chain risk management
  • Major incidence and disaster management
  • Business continuity management
  • Organisational resilience
  • Development, review or implementation of relevant risk management standards, guidelines and systems
  • Case studies in project or/and enterprise risk management

Notes for Prospective Authors

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper was not originally copyrighted and if it has been completely re-written).
