Special Issue on: "Methodologies, Technologies and Tools Enabling e-Government"

Guest Editors: Prof. Flavio Corradini and Prof. Alberto Polzonetti, University of Camerino, Italy

In the context of innovation in public administrations that is taking place in many countries, information and communication technologies play a significant role. This special issue focuses on ICT-based methodologies, technologies and tools enabling e-Government.

Methodologies play an increasingly important role in the management and definition of e-Government initiatives. Technologies improve their efficiency and effectiveness while tools allow new specific services and functionalities. All of these, of course, influence political, legal, cultural and organisational issues. Original unpublished research papers from researchers, teachers and practitioners active in the area of electronic government are sought covering various disciplines pertinent to the objectives of this special issue.
