IJFSNPH contributes to the improvement of public health through quality research and a better understanding of the science involved in food safety, nutrition and dietetics, food studies, food and restaurant management. To promote better health for all, this initiative aims to broaden the context of public health and health equity, integrate the study of these various disciplines, and foster knowledge transfer on key issues regarding the pivotal role of food safety, nutrition and health equity in influencing health outcomes.

Objectives
The objectives of IJFSNPH are to establish an effective channel of communication between food scientists, nutritionists, public health professionals, food producers, food marketers, policy makers, governmental and non-governmental agencies, and others concerned with the food safety, nutrition and public health dimensions. It aims to promote food and health equity which will consequently promote public health and combat diseases. The international dimension is emphasised in order to catalyse diffusion of technological advances to food producers and consumers worldwide and to heighten international awareness of emerging public health challenges related to food safety and malnutrition.
Readership
IJFSNPH provides a vehicle to help professionals working in the field of public health, rural health, health equity, academics, research, food policy, food science, nutrition, food processing, microbiology, disease prevention, regulatory and quality assurance, health sector, primary food production, and government to disseminate information and to learn from and discuss each other's work.
Contents
IJFSNPH publishes peer reviewed original papers, review papers, technical reports, case studies, conference reports, book reviews. Special Issues devoted to important topics in food safety, food safety management, nutrition, interventions and public health will occasionally be published.
