Business processes play key roles in enabling business application integration/collaboration across multiple organisations. Integration can be categorised into two types: internal and external. To stay competitive, companies must be agile in adapting processes to ever-changing market dynamics, looking beyond traditional enterprises/marketplaces through collaborative interactions and dynamic e-business solutions. The enterprise infrastructure must provide capability for dynamic discovery of trading partners/service providers and enable federated security mechanisms, solution monitoring/management. Objectives
The objectives of IJBPIM are to establish an effective channel of communication between policy makers, government agencies, academic and research institutions and persons concerned with the complex role of business processes in e-business solutions, engineering design collaboration, logistics management, etc. It also aims to promote and coordinate developments in the field of business process integration and management. The international dimension is emphasised in order to overcome cultural and national barriers and to meet the needs of accelerating technological and ecological change and changes in the global economy.Readership
IJBPIM provides a vehicle to help professionals, academics, researchers and policy makers, working in the field of e-business solutions, business transformation and business education, to disseminate information and to learn from each others| work.
