Abstract/Summary: Higher education is the most promising and high yield long-term investment is the sustainable economy and flourishing society. Higher education institutions meet this requirements if above the academic successes they comply with the requirements of the world of labour. The ICT applications plus the students belonging to the digital age provide ample data input minutes by minutes to analyse and profile their learning style, progress, strengths and weaknesses in order to recommend for them the most promising learning and career paths. Turning around the recommendation logic, the university management gets ample information to update or modify their portfolio proactively. The paper gives a detailed overview of a framework in which university governance can be geared up.
