WOCOLS 2019: Special Issue on: "Sustainable Approaches in Agriculture, Food and the Environment"

The aim of this special issue is to share and publish innovative sustainable approaches and the latest developments in the broader fields of Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Environment carried out in Europe and internationally to encourage cooperation among the scientists involved in these fields and improve the relevant knowledge.

The special issue will contribute to the evolution of research in the fields of Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Environment under the scope of sustainability.

Suitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Sustainable agricultural and forest resources management
• Planning and sustainable development
• Corporate responsibility and sustainable initiatives
• Policy and institutional contexts for sustainable development
• Sustainable performance measures
• Sustainability assessment
• Efficiency
• Modelling and simulation for effective decision making
• Supply chain management, logistics and traceability
• ICT in climate change/global warming and rural development
• IoT and green ICT technologies
• Application Models and Systems and Case studies involving any of the above issues

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper).

All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
