ICCD-2018: Special Issue on: "Human-Computer Interaction"

Guest Editors:

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik, SOA University, India
Prof. Xilong Qu, Hunan University of Finance and Economics, China
Mr. Bin Hu, China Mobile Communications Corporation, China

This special issue will focus on the means of communication between a human user and a computer system, referring in particular to the use of input/output devices with supporting software.

Devices of increasing sophistication are becoming available to mediate human-computer interaction. These include graphics devices, touch-sensitive devices and voice-input devices. They have to be configured in a way that facilitates an efficient and desirable interaction between a person and the computer.

Artificial intelligence techniques of knowledge representation may be used to model the user of a computer system, and thus offer the opportunity to give personalised advice on its use. The design of the machine interface may incorporate expert-system techniques to offer powerful knowledge-based computing to the user.

The Guest Editors will be inviting substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the 4th International Conference on Intelligent Computing, Communication and Devices (ICCD-2018) for review and potential publication, but are also inviting other experts to submit articles for this call.
