Abstract: It is the usual policy of Inderscience Publishers to retract from publication any paper if, subsequent to publication, it becomes a matter of dispute regarding intellectual property, publishing ethics or legal issues. Each case is judged according to individual circumstances. In this case, the author's work "The effect of triple-A supply chain on performance applied to the Egyptian textile industry" published in IJISM Vol 10 Nos 3-4, 2016, has substantial similarities to an already published work also by Ahmed M Attia, "Testing the effect of marketing strategy alignment and triple-A supply chain on performance in Egypt", published in EuroMed Journal of Business, Vol 10 No 2 , 2015, which deems it liable to conflict and ethical dispute. This paper has therefore been retracted.
