Abstract: Indian small and medium enterprises (SME) are the life line of its economy. To improve overall business performance and to face global competition SMEs must adopt information system. Presently, an information system is required that incorporates cloud computing. Cloud computing provides very economical web infrastructure and scalable business solutions. Indian SMEs are yet to reap the benefits of cloud computing. According to the survey results presented in this study the major reasons for non-adoptions includes absence of structure of information system and various security concerns. This paper on the basis of survey and literature review presents a structure and steps to implement cloud computing in SMEs. The proposed architecture will not only provide vital information about cloud structure for SMEs but also suggest a roadmap for implementation of the structure.
