Abstract: The consumption of resources and impact on the environment differ at every stage of building product life cycle, thus this paper aims to establish an indicator system to assess the environmental impact of building product life cycle. For the uncertainty and ambiguity during indicator measurement, evidence theory is added in this system. This paper chooses a case of the selection of four building types in a university campus, using different risk types of utility function to reflect the preference of different stakeholders in the assessment. Environmental impact brought by each type of building is evaluated respectively from the public, designers and owners, developers and contractors. And the final choice is given.
