Abstract: Eight key issues that influence the success of a technology transfer program within the context of an R&D consortium are outlined on the basis of the 17-year experience of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Each of the issues is discussed in terms of EPRI|s approach to solving the issue, lessons learned to date vis-a-vis the issue, and near-term, additional actions being taken to further resolve the issue.
